Pregnant Women’s Access to Care Threatened Led by AABC Legislative Committee Chair, Jill Alliman and AABC’s lobbyist, Karen Fennell, AABC members are contacting their Congressional Representatives and Senators to make birth centers a priority and to ask them to sponsor legislation to mandate the facility fee. Several centers have even had their representatives visit their birth centers. Others have mobilized their consumers into political action.
