VBAC in Oklahoma: Myths & Facts

Women in Oklahoma who have had previous cesarean sections can have a normal, non-surgical birth in hospitals, birth centers, or at home. A panel of moms will discuss their experiences with VBAC in Oklahoma. Join us to hear their stories and learn about your options.

Book Release & Clothing Swap

The Oklahoma BirthNetwork sponsored a Maternity Clothing Swap in celebration of the release of Ricki Lake & Abby Epstein's new book, "Your Best Birth". Remaining clothing items were donated donated to Sister Barbara Joseph's Pantry.

Love Letters Project - Feb. 2009

The Love Letters Project provided new families a chance to thank their birth facilities for the care they received during their birth. We provided stationary, addresses and stamps for families.

	Comfort Measures Classes Bring a partner and learn comfort measures you can use during labor and birth. You may attend one or all 3. Class 1: Relaxation & Breathing Class 2: Back Labor Class 3: Birth Tools (using massage, birth ball and other tools) Fee: $10 per person/per class Registration informtaion, dates and locations wil be posted soon.
